American metal heavy hitters Adjacent To Nothing have entered the studio to record the highly anticipated follow-up to their sophomore release, Lessons and Lesions.
The band is currently working with acclaimed producer Stetson “Buckett” Whitworth (Chelsea Grin) alongside Travis Montgomery of Born of Osiris, forging what promises to be their most aggressive and thought-provoking release to date.
“This record hits on different fronts,” the band states. “It’s about complicity, survival, and what happens when truth is ignored long enough to become consequence. These songs don’t just hit hard—they force you to question where you stand.”
Drawing from themes of blind obedience, moral collapse, and the cost of inaction, the upcoming album expands on the band’s signature blend of crushing modern metal and cinematic atmosphere. Tracks explore the tension between submission and defiance, with recurring motifs of control, sacrifice, and the idea that ‘valor dies alone.’
The album is slated for a Summer 2026 release via Song Haus Records, with distribution through Select-O-Hits. Based in New York City and founded by Dane Spencer in 1998, Song Haus has built a reputation for championing boundary-pushing artists across genres.
Adjacent To Nothing’s self-titled debut was produced by legendary engineer Sylvia Massey (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash), while Lessons and Lesions was co-produced by Travis Montgomery and Joel Pack (Royal Bliss, Neon Trees).
With their third full-length album, the band steps into darker territory—sonically and thematically—delivering a record that challenges listeners as much as it punishes speakers.
Summer 2026. Prepare accordingly.
